pre-transition/io academy demos

These demos are part of a collection entitled WHOREMANIES. They are songs I wrote to process my time as a sex worker before coming to terms with my gender identity, going no-contact from non-supportive family, and trying to hone my voice without access to or the skills to use a DAW. The mixes are rough, and my voice is shaky as this was a time when I was newly uncomfortable singing in public. Parts of these demos have evolved into some of my full songs for my EP. I was able to transform the chorus of “GOD” into the bridge for my first official single, “king” and am in the process of recreating “CHOIRBOY” in boypop’s voice.
